CRYPTSHOW FESTIVAL has been born with the purpose of fulfilling a cultural gap in the metropolitan area of Barcelona. It also has the aspiration of getting consolidated all around the world as an example of spreading and supporting of popular culture and the fantasy genre.

This first occasion has served to show us that the participation of both the audience and the participants is really excellent, even superior to expected. Directors and organizers of other festivals around the world have given us their support and have been interested in being present at CRYPTSHOW FESTIVAL.

We are convinced that it is possible to have a festival where independent cinema, short films, painting, drawing, literature, comics, music...will have a meeting point to exchange offers and show them to all kind of audiences.They all have the terror and fantasy genre in common. For all this, we are going to continue with this initiative.
